Trade value is a single number that captures a player's worth in fantasy football, letting you compare very different players and multi-player packages on one scale. Values depend on scoring format (PPR, half-PPR, standard, dynasty) and update through the season. Comparing the summed value of each side gives a quick read on who wins a deal.
Side A gives players worth 42 + 18 = 60. Side B gives 38 + 15 = 53. The gap is 7, which is 7 ÷ 60 ≈ 11.7%, just outside the fair range, tilting toward Side B (who gives up less to get more).
Assign each player a value, sum both sides, and compare totals.
