In 2024 Depop removed its 10% selling fee for sellers in the US. What remains for most US sellers is the payment processing fee, about 3.3% + $0.45 per sale, charged on the item price plus any shipping you collect. A separate buyer protection fee is now charged to the buyer, not you. Optional Depop Boost promotes a listing for an extra percentage (around 8%) that only applies when a boosted item sells.
If you sell outside the US or on a legacy arrangement, the old 10% selling fee may still apply, so this calculator includes a toggle to add it back.
A $40 item with free shipping, no boost: processing = 40 × 0.033 + 0.45 = $1.77. If the item cost $10 and shipping cost $5, profit = 40 − 10 − 5 − 1.77 = $23.23.
